How it works

I bake to order from my home kitchen and each Monday I send out an email to all those on my mailing list, offering a selection of four types of bread (different each week) that will be available for collection from me (Cavendish Road CB1) on Thursday and Friday. If you are interested in ordering bread just respond promptly to the email.

For contact details and how to be added to the BREADONABIKE email list see the Contact-me page.

All my bread is sourdough which means it is made using a natural leaven and long fermentation methods. Making a loaf is a 36 hour process so ideally I need orders at least two days ahead of collection day (and preferably longer as it takes time to sort out all the orders!)

Bread orders are available for collection on the order day from 12 midday and if possible before 7pm. Later collection may be possible by arrangement. Payment is usually cash on collection.

Please note that I need 48 hours notice of cancellation of an order and cancellations within that period would still need to be paid for. Bread that is ordered and not collected will still need to be paid for.

If you have any questions, special requests or need further information, please let me know.

  1. Hi Alison could you tell me how much your bread costs and if you use a courier for those who are not local.
    thanks Ruby

    1. Hi Ruby,
For some reason I am not receiving notifications for comments on the website, so have only just seen this. Cost depends on ingredients but an 820g loaf costs around £3.90/£4.00. I have not used a courier. Bread is collected from CB1 by most customers, Do contact me by email if you would like to be added to the mailing list.
      Many thanks,
